Job Title: CAM Engineer Location: Greater Noida Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Plant Head Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CAM Engineer to develop and optimize CNC programs for manufacturing operations using CAM software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating design data into machine-readable instructions, ensuring precision, efficiency, and manufacturability in machining operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs using CAM software like Siemens NX, Powermill, or Mastercam. Collaborate with design and production teams to interpret technical drawings and convert them into machining strategies. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for materials and operations. Simulate and verify tool paths to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Support setup and troubleshooting on the shop floor during initial runs or production issues. Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, enhance tool life, and increase quality. Maintain documentation including tool lists, setup sheets, and program revisions. Work closely with CNC machinists to ensure smooth program implementation. Stay current with latest advancements in CAM software and machining technologies. Requirements: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering or equivalent. 68 years of experience in CAM programming for CNC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred). Strong hands-on experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, Powermill, Fusion 360). Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material properties. Knowledge of CNC machine operation, tooling, and fixturing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Exposure to CAD/CAM integration and PLM systems. Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 or similar quality systems. Mandatory Requirements: Must have own conveyance Must be residing or ready to shift to Greater Noida Salary offered: 50k 60k CTC. Higher salary may be considered for deserving candidates.
