Role & responsibilities Programming CNC machines using NX CAM, including creating tool paths and NC codes. Understanding 2D prints with GD&T and aligning process flow and CAM to align with requirements. Creating stage models, using WAVE geometry, assembling creation, and reference geometry creation for CAM processes. NX programs for 3/5-axis milling operations, including CAD tools for part model preparation and machining. Planar mill, Area Mill, Fixed Axis Contour and holes. Expert in basic operation and setup of CNC machines, understanding of tooling, fixtures, and metrology skills. Understanding of metrology techniques like calipers, height gages and CMM/OMM. Position Summary: The Electrode Designer is responsible for designing high-precision electrodes used in the electrical discharge machining (EDM) process. The role involves creating detailed designs, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring compatibility with machining processes to achieve desired product specifications Key Responsibilities: Create detailed designs of electrodes using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid edge, or NX Ensure designs align with machining requirements and product specifications Identify and recommend suitable materials (eg, graphite, copper) based on design requirements and EDM applications Optimize material usage to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality. Collaborate with tooling and manufacturing teams to ensure electrode designs meet operational needs Validate designs against tooling feasibility and machine compatibility Ensure designs meet industry standards and internal quality benchmarks. Continuously improve electrode designs to enhance machining efficiency and reduce wear Maintain detailed records of designs, revisions, and approvals Support troubleshooting efforts for issues arnsing during EDM operations Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, NX) Knowledge of EDM processes and electrode manufacturing techniques Understanding of materials like graphite and copper.

Roles and Responsibilities Diploma in Tool & Die /Mechanical from CIPET/NTTF/CTTC institutes. 5 to 12 years experience in commercial Tool Room in manufacturing section. Good Knowledge of Manufacturing process like EDM/CNC Milling/Wire Cut/ Conventional machines/heat treatment. Machines and manpower planning knowledge for minimum 40 persons team. Software knowledge UNIGRAPHIX is mandatory Ensure efficient production by monitoring machine performance, identifying issues, and implementing improvements. Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code for various machining operations. Proficiency in CAM programming languages such as G-code, PostScript, etc., with expertise in UG NX software.
