Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cake Maker with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in baking, decorating, and crafting a variety of cakes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cake preparation techniques, creativity in presentation, and a commitment to maintaining high quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide variety of cakes including sponge, mousse, layered, fondant, and custom-designed cakes.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately as per recipes and customer specifications.
• Decorate cakes using icing, frosting, chocolate, fondant, and other toppings with precision and creativity.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance of all baked products.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the baking station and equipment at all times.
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and report shortages.
• Handle customer cake orders and special requests efficiently and professionally.
• Stay updated with current trends in cake design and baking techniques.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of proven experience as a cake maker or pastry chef.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake recipes, and decoration styles.
• Creative flair with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good time-management and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and special occasions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Baking/Pastry Arts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in handling fondant, themed cakes, and customized orders.
