CAD Pattern Master

Job Description: As a Pattern Maker, your primary responsibility will be to create first patterns for various types of shirts (formal, casual, dress shirts) using CAD software such as ORBITO and GEMINI. You will interpret technical sketches, spec sheets, and measurements to develop accurate base patterns. Your role will involve converting manual patterns into digital format, ensuring pattern standardization, and making fit and technical adjustments based on fit trials with sample garments. Key Responsibilities: - Create first patterns for different types of shirts using CAD software - Interpret technical sketches, spec sheets, and measurements to develop accurate base patterns - Convert manual patterns into digital format and ensure pattern standardization - Conduct fit trials with sample garments to analyze and improve fit, shape, and drape - Make necessary corrections to patterns based on fitting comments and construction issues - Maintain fit consistency across different shirt styles and size ranges - Perform grading of shirt patterns as per standard or customer-specific size charts - Ensure patterns are production-ready with correct seam allowances, notches, grainlines, and labeling - Coordinate with sample tailors, merchandisers, and QA team for accurate sample execution - Provide clear pattern specifications to sampling and cutting teams - Troubleshoot issues during sample development related to fit, pattern, or construction - Maintain a digital archive of all shirt patterns and grading sets - Ensure pattern files are well-organized and updated with version control - Ensure pattern compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in CAD software (ORBITO, GEMINI) - Strong understanding of pattern making and grading techniques - Ability to interpret technical sketches, spec sheets, and measurements accurately - Experience in conducting fit trials and making technical adjustments - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and coordination skills with different teams - Knowledge of garment construction and quality standards Please note that this job is full-time and permanent, with benefits including Provident Fund.
