As a CAD Specialist at / SAADAA, you will play a crucial role in the technical design process by developing digital garment patterns that translate vision into scalable, production-ready styles for everyday wear. Your expertise in digital pattern development, grading, and marker efficiency will be essential in ensuring that our products feel better, fit better, and last longer. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, modify, and grade digital garment patterns using CAD software such as Lectra, Gerber AccuMark, Optitex, Tukatech. - Create optimized marker layouts to minimize fabric wastage while maintaining construction quality. - Ensure all digital patterns meet production, fit, and quality standards aligned with brand specifications. - Conduct fit analysis using virtual 3D simulations or physical samples and make accurate pattern corrections. - Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to preserve design intent while ensuring manufacturing feasibility. - Prepare and manage technical specs, construction sheets, and size charts. - Maintain a clear digital archive of patterns and markers with proper versioning. - Troubleshoot CAD-related issues and ensure efficient resolution with minimal downtime. - Participate in proto reviews, fittings, and production handovers to ensure pattern accuracy and readiness. - Stay updated on different fabric types, their behavior, and their impact on fit and construction. **Qualifications Required:** - Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or Garment Engineering. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CAD pattern making, grading, and marker making. - Proficiency in one or more CAD tools like Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech. - Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and technical specifications. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Organized, systematic, and efficient in managing digital documentation. - CAD software certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
