Job Description: CAD Expert (Highway Design)

Position: CAD Expert / Draftsman – Highway

Experience: 3–10 Years (Highway Projects)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop detailed highway design drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D / MX Road / OpenRoads.
• Draft alignment plans, longitudinal sections (L-Sections), cross-sections, typical cross-sections, and geometric design details.
• Create junction layouts, service roads, drainage layouts, culvert & structure GA drawings, and other highway-related design deliverables.
• Work closely with highway design engineers to convert conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, layer management, and CAD standards.
• Perform quantity extraction from drawings where required.
• Ensure drawings comply with IRC, MoRTH, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, utilities, traffic, environment).
• Review design changes, update drawings, and maintain revision history.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience with Civil 3D / MX Road / OpenRoads Designer preferred.
• Understanding of highway geometry (horizontal & vertical alignment).
• Knowledge of MoRTH/IRC guidelines.
• Ability to prepare detailed drawings with accuracy and speed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification:

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant field.

Preferred Experience:

• Worked on National Highway / Expressway / Urban Road projects.
• Experience with preparation of drawings for DPR, EPC, or PMC projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
