CAD Drafter

Role Overview: As a Drafting Technician, your primary responsibility will be to use software like AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting tools to create construction drawings, floor plans, and renderings based on the plans provided by architects or engineers. You will also assist in organizing, revising, and optimizing design drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Additionally, you will participate in archiving and managing project design documents and provide technical support as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Create construction drawings, floor plans, and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software. - Assist in organizing, revising, and optimizing design drawings for accuracy and compliance. - Manage project design documents to ensure data integrity and traceability. - Review and revise drawings with engineers to ensure constructibility. - Complete design presentations and prepare technical documents. - Provide technical support such as drawing printing and scanning. - Undertake additional drawing and support tasks assigned by superiors. Qualifications Required: - Technical secondary school degree or above in architecture, civil engineering, surveying, or a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software, with a mastery of basic drawing standards. - Strong spatial visualization and understanding of drawings. - Diligent and meticulous work ethic with a strong sense of responsibility to complete tasks on time. - Team player with good communication skills to collaborate efficiently with the design team. - Relevant internship or drafting experience is preferred.
