Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Designer to create accurate and technically sound 2D and 3D drawings for construction, architectural layouts, and technical designs. The candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, planners, and site teams to support project execution with precise digital designs. Key Responsibilities: Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings based on project requirements. Develop layout plans, sections, elevations, and working drawings . Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project scope and deliverables. Ensure all drawings are compliant with building codes, project guidelines, and company standards . Update drawings and documents based on revisions, field changes, or client feedback . Maintain and organize drawing files and ensure version control . Assist in preparing presentation drawings, models, and renderings if required. Conduct site visits to take measurements and understand design feasibility. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and consultants when required for technical inputs . Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD , and knowledge of other software like SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks, or 3Ds Max is a plus. Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and building construction methods . Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CAD designing (experience in real estate/construction preferred). Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes: Experience in real estate layouts, township planning, or structural detailing . Ability to read architectural and civil drawings accurately. Familiarity with municipal bye-laws and development control regulations . Knowledge of BIM workflows is an added advantage.
