Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design 3D models of orthopedic implants and instrumentation based on engineer/surgeon-provided design inputs
Generate initial surgical plans via placement of implants and or guides within 3Dreconstruction of patient following specified design operating procedures
Manage case workload assigned by senior team members
Comply with documented quality system design procedures
Assist in quality documentation including generation of engineering drawings, inspectionrequirements, and other required forms

Preferred candidate profile

Experience working with medical imaging (MRI/CT Scans)
Experience with image segmentation using Mimics
Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., Solidworks)
Mesh-based modeler a plus (e.g., Meshmixer)
Experience with design for manufacturing principles for additive manufacturing
Medical anatomy and terminology
Experience working within a quality management system strongly preferred
