CAD Application Engineer

As a CAD Application Engineer at CCTech, you will play a crucial role in transforming client requirements into precise 3D models utilizing your expertise in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed CAD models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, coordinating with various disciplines to resolve clashes, providing training and support on CAD software, documenting project processes, and continuously improving project outcomes by staying updated on the latest CAD technologies and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Developing CAD Models: Create and maintain detailed CAD models using Autodesk Inventor, Revit, or other relevant software. - Data Management: Organize and manage data within CAD software to ensure accuracy and consistency across project phases. - Coordination: Collaborate with different disciplines to identify and resolve clashes or discrepancies within models for efficient workflow. - Training and Support: Offer training and support to team members and stakeholders on CAD software and processes. - Project Documentation: Generate and maintain project documentation related to CAD processes, guidelines, protocols, and standards. - Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest CAD technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes through implementation of improvements. Skills Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Navisworks, and 3D modeling. - Strong technical support skills with a background in engineering design and troubleshooting. - Ability to review and analyze application system specifications. - In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and design processes. - Excellent problem-solving capabilities and communication skills. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 1 year of experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools. - Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
