Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan and execute audits in line with the Internal Audit Plan.
Review branch audit work, guide team members, and ensure quality standards.
Prepare accurate and timely
audit reports
and follow-up on compliance through Action Taken Reports.
Liaise with departmental stakeholders and ensure responses to audit observations.
Support
Audit Committee reporting
and presentations.
Apply
data analytics
in audits to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Lead and manage the internal audit team to achieve departmental objectives..
Execute special audits as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators

% of audits completed as per the approved annual audit plan.
Timeliness and quality of
audit reports
submitted.
% of audit issues closed/resolved within agreed timelines.
Effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and responsiveness to audit queries.
Extent of
data analytics usage
in audit execution.
Audit Committee papers prepared and submitted on time.
Team performance metrics (quality of work, productivity, adherence to timelines).
Value-added recommendations provided to strengthen internal controls and processes.
