Company: MATHEMATICAL COMPUTING SOFTWARE COMPANY Position Title: C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER - PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION Location: BANGALORE, KA Reports To: TECHNICAL MANAGER Description: Lead, grow, and contribute to a new development team to automatically find and fix performance defects in industry C/C++ applications. Use state-of-the-art analysis and add new static analysis capabilities to Polyspace Bug Finder. Our tools enable customers across the globe to be successful in the design, testing, and delivery of large-scale leading edge software products. Responsibilities: Become an expert in C++ standards and idioms. Identify projects to enable automated identification of common developer performance mistakes. Have your hands on all phases of software development: user requirements, functional design, implementation, testing, documentation, and validation. Opportunities to mentor and motivate the local development team to deliver performance-focused static analysis checkers for Polyspace Bug Finder. You'll be responsible for planning projects, tracking work, delivering features, and meeting deadlines. Coordinate and collaborate closely with our global development team. Help grow the team. Find and hire new team members, onboard them, put them in the best position to succeed and deliver . Qualifications: The incumbent should possess strong verbal and written communication A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required. Experience with C++ Additional Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills Deep knowledge of the C++ standard is a plus Technical leadership experience (leading a large project, mentoring junior developers) is a plus Knowledge of compiler-related technologies (intermediate representations, concrete syntax trees, abstract syntax trees) is a plus Experience with static analysis tooling (such as clang-tidy) is a plus Knowledge of complex data structures and algorithms is a plus Relocation: YES ABOUT THE COMPANY: The Company is a $1.25 billion company that employs over 5000 employees worldwide.
