Primary Responsibilities : L1 engineers are the first line of defence for users experiencing technical issues. They diagnose and resolve basic technical problems, including software and hardware issues, system setup problems, and user-related issues. L1 engineers perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as installing software updates, managing user accounts, and ensuring system stability. When issues are beyond their capabilities, they document the problem and escalate it to higher-level support teams. They document solutions to common problems to help create a knowledge base for future use. L1 engineers provide technical assistance to users, answering questions, and guiding them on how to use software and hardware. They may be involved in basic security tasks like password resets and ensuring users follow security protocols. Experience with or knowledge of cloud computing (specifically AWS, GCL, Microsoft Azure )
