C++ Development Director (Hands - on)

As a Director - Hands-on C++ Developer with over 17 years of experience, you will report directly to the Managing Director. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and drive the use of technology in delivering products to both external clients and internal staff. You will play a crucial role in providing leadership and technical guidance to teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Your expertise in technology engineering will be instrumental in the success of the T&D team. This hands-on role requires you to lead by example, demonstrating practical experience in building services and technical architecture to deliver digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with other developers, fostering effective communication through various channels such as emails, meetings, blogs, videos, and talks. Your proactive approach and ability to influence through code will be key in driving innovation across the organization. In this position, your responsibilities will include creating innovative engineering solutions to enhance the bank's efficiency and security. You will prioritize customer needs, striving to enhance their experience through continuous improvement. Working closely with product owners and other teams, you will define and engineer the direction of holistic digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. To excel in this role, you must possess deep technical expertise in multiple domains, including C++, VC++, Multithreading, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. A solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, security concerns, and agile development practices is essential.
