Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Networking & Linux
Location: PuneExperience: 8+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are looking for a talented Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, JavaScript/HTML, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, IGMP, and HTTP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in Linux environments for both development and deployment, and a solid understanding of embedded systems and network stack integration.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C/C++ for networking applications.Implement and troubleshoot networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, IGMP, HTTP, and related technologies.Work with Linux as the primary development and deployment platform; including kernel configuration, shell scripting, and device interface integration.Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and system architects to deliver high-quality software.Debug and analyze complex issues in embedded and networked environments.Ensure performance optimization and reliability of software components in embedded systems.Required Skills:Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++Good understanding of JavaScript and HTML for UI integration or embedded web server configurationIn-depth knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, IGMP, HTTPHands-on experience with Linux OS application development, cross-compilation, debugging, and scriptingExperience with embedded toolchains, debugging tools (GDB, Wireshark), and performance tuningFamiliarity with networking stack configuration and troubleshooting in embedded systems
