The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Support Supply Chain Procurement team in day-to-day activities and collaborate with suppliers to expedite the delivery of components for Germany Service Centre. Your responsibilities include overseeing the procurement of goods and services as per the standard process workflow, creating accurate and timely purchase orders, transmitting POs to suppliers, expediting delivery when needed/requested, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely reordering from suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, resolving any arising issues, collaborating with other departments, resolving conflicts proactively, adhering to Supply Chain management processes, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines and IS security policy, and acting as a role model for the team. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree, hands-on experience with SAP MM module, knowledge of ERP system and P2P process, proficiency in MS Office tools, excellent English language skills, with basic knowledge of German as an advantage, close collaboration with stakeholders, ability to work under pressure, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
