We are looking for

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven category knowledge and understanding of silk fabrics, weaves, and regional craftsmanship
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills; ability to manage sourcing across multiple clusters
• Experience in merchandising and assortment planning specific to sarees or ethnicwear
• Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to inform buying, pricing, and inventory decisions
• Strong understanding of retail trends and consumer preferences in the premium ethnic wear segment
• Experience in P&L ownership or driving category profitability
• Exposure to technology-led retailing – familiarity with ERP systems, PLM tools, or AI-based trend forecasting
• Experience with visual merchandising and collaboration with marketing for product storytelling
• Team leadership and the ability to coach and build a strong buying and merchandising team
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
