Business Systems Analyst - Enterprise Data

As Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will be a crucial member of the data management team at dentsu, ensuring the functional integrity of enterprise data management solutions. Your role involves acting as a bridge between the data team and stakeholders from global, regional, and enterprise technology backgrounds. Collaborating closely with dentsu's business and technology stakeholders, you will gather solution requirements to support dentsu's business objectives and associated enterprise data capabilities. Your responsibilities will include driving requirements feasibility analysis based on business priorities, guiding the technology implementation team on behalf of dentsu's business operations team, and ensuring solution business relevance and functional accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct discovery sessions with data stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit solution change requirements, both business and functional. - Analyze new data for incorporation into a data product/enterprise data platform and perform ad-hoc data analysis to support the requirements process. - Own accurate requirements specifications and acceptance criteria for solution changes, updates, and maintenance. - Follow project management directives regarding schedule, scope, and cost tradeoffs. - Support solution testing using business validation techniques and lead solution user acceptance testing. - Update and maintain solution documentation, which includes Requirements, data flows, business glossary, data catalog, data lineage, and data models. - Act as the Functional point of contact for the solution, addressing data and design queries/issues. - Manage the solution in production, collaborate with end users, and facilitate change requests using a defined change management process. Qualifications + Skills: - Experience in technology implementation within master data management and enterprise data management, covering data mastering, data integration, data transformation, system integration, and data analytics. - Proficiency in documenting requirements for scope management, design, development, and testing enablement through traceability, ideally with experience in Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of master data management and enterprise data management concepts. - Hands-on experience with relational design concepts (e.g., table design, table relationships, primary and foreign key designations). - Proficiency in user acceptance testing. - Strong customer service orientation, consistently meeting internal and external client commitments, and managing challenging situations towards positive outcomes. - Effective communication skills to simplify and structure complex concepts, streamline interactions, and emphasize key points. - Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to various conditions and remain focused under pressure.
