Role Description

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer to join our team. A Business Intelligence (BI) Developer designs, builds, and maintains systems that transform raw data into actionable insights and reports for businesses, using data visualization tools and databases to help decision-makers understand trends and improve performance. Key responsibilities include understanding business needs, integrating data from various sources, developing data models and dashboards, and ensuring data integrity to support strategic decision-making. .

Your key responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Integration: They analyze business requirements and identify key performance indicators (KPIs), then collect, consolidate, and integrate data from multiple sources, such as ERP and CRM systems.
• Data Modeling & Management: BI developers design and implement data models, establish and maintain databases, and create complex queries to ensure seamless and efficient data flow.
• Reporting & Visualization: They develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI software to present complex data in an easily understandable format for stakeholders.

• Performance Optimization: A crucial part of their role is to ensure the BI systems and tools perform optimally and provide reliable, timely insights for strategic decision-making

Key Skills & Tools

• Programming: Knowledge of SQL is required for managing databases and retrieving data, while Python is commonly used for data manipulation.
• BI & Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos is needed to develop dashboards and reports.
• Data Modeling: The ability to design data models that organize and structure data for analysis is an important skill.
• Business Acumen: Comprehension of business processes and user requirements supports the development of practical and relevant insights.
• Tools - Tableau & Power BI

Your skills and experience

• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java and Python)
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field a Master's is a plus
• BI certification & Tableau Ambassador is a plus
