Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Business Development Manager to join our team in Kolkata & Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships in the region. This role demands a high level of initiative, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the sales and marketing landscape, particularly within the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Business Development:

• Proactively generate leads through various multimedia channels, including digital marketing, social media, and industry events.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share within the region.

2. Customer Communication & Relationship Management:

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while cultivating new customer connections.

Exhibition & Event Participation:

• Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and seminars to showcase our innovative packaging solutions.
• Manage and respond to inquiries generated from exhibitions and other marketing events.

. Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, to meet clients, attend events, and support business development activities
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development Management in Packaging Machinery industry.
  
• Strong understanding of packaging machines sales, including knowledge of various types of machinery and their applications.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective lead generation, negotiation, and relationship-building with clients.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
