Job Description

Public Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Public Relations & Communications:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the centres brand image and patient trust.
  • Act as the primary contact for media, public inquiries, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, newsletters, brochures, and other communication materials.
  • Organize awareness campaigns, health camps, seminars, and community outreach programs related to diagnostic services.
  • Manage communication during emergencies, service disruptions, or sensitive issues.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with referring doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
  • Develop patient engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and patient support systems.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to highlight advancements in imaging, pathology, and diagnostics.
  • Handle patient grievances professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Brand Management:

  • Assist in developing marketing materials aligned with the centres goals and ethics.
  • Support event planning, participation in health fairs, and corporate tie-ups.
  • Maintain a positive image through ethical communication and patient-centered initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors/Master degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Experience in healthcare communication, especially in diagnostic or hospital settings (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and [local language].
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, patient privacy, and ethical communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to handle sensitive medical information with discretion.
