Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Summary

RALP IE is a growing procurement services startup that helps businesses streamline their purchasing requirements through coordinated sourcing and a reliable vendor network.

We are looking for a confident, commercially driven Business Development Executive with 1–3 years of experience to drive client acquisition, conduct business meetings, develop customer relationships, and convert sales opportunities into active accounts.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers, presenting business solutions, handling objections, negotiating commercial opportunities, and taking ownership of the sales process from initial contact to closure.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to startup growth while gaining broader exposure to B2B sales, procurement services, and multiple business sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting

• Identify and target potential clients across IT, manufacturing, technology, industrial supplies, facility management, and other relevant sectors.
• Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.

Client Meetings and Presentations

• Schedule and independently attend client meetings, both online and in person.
• Engage with founders, business owners, purchase managers, administration teams, and other decision-makers.
• Understand customer procurement challenges and present tailored service offerings.
• Communicate the business value of ProcureWithRALP and establish strong commercial relationships.

Sales Conversion and Deal Closure

• Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through meetings, follow-ups, negotiations, and closure.
• Handle objections, negotiate commercial terms within approved limits, and move prospects towards decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare quotations, proposals, and client-specific solutions.
• Convert prospects into active clients and develop opportunities for repeat business.
• Take ownership of assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

Account Management and Relationship Building

• Maintain strong relationships with existing and newly acquired clients.
• Identify additional purchasing requirements and opportunities to expand client accounts.
• Ensure consistent communication and coordinate internally to support client requirements.

Sales Pipeline and Reporting

• Maintain accurate CRM records covering leads, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and conversions.
• Monitor sales performance and report pipeline progress to management.
• Research market trends, competitors, and emerging customer segments.
• Recommend practical strategies to improve client acquisition and conversion rates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or any relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, client acquisition, or account management.
• Experience in corporate sales, procurement services, trading, distribution, or industrial sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct client meetings and progress sales opportunities towards closure.
• Ability to handle objections, manage follow-ups, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Proficiency in MS Office, LinkedIn, email communication, and CRM tools.
• Self-driven, organised, accountable, and comfortable working towards measurable targets.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings when required.

Performance-Based Sales Incentives: Attractive incentives will be provided for successfully converting prospects into clients and generating business for RALP IE. The more business you bring in, the greater your earning potential, based on the company's incentive policy.

Compensation: Based on experience, skills, and interview performance.
