Business Development Executive (BDE)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead Management

• Contact new leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Identify and qualify potential leads based on their needs, budget, and booking interest.
• Give preliminary details to direct walk-ins and direct call inquiries, who inquire about wedding services.

2. Client Communication

• Call and follow up with potential clients.
• Understand their wedding dates, guest count, preferences, and budget.
• Explain the company's services and packages.
• Schedule client meetings and venue visits when required.

3. Sales and Business Conversion

• Prepare quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and packages with clients.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed wedding bookings.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

4. Build Business Partnerships

• Develop relationships with wedding venues, hotels, banquet halls, photographers, caterers, decorators, and makeup artists.
• Connect with event planners and other wedding vendors.
• Create partnerships that generate regular business referrals.

5. Client Follow-up and Coordination

• Maintain records of leads and client conversations.
• Follow up on pending quotations and proposals.
• Coordinate with the wedding planning, operations, and marketing teams.
• Help ensure a smooth transition from booking to wedding execution.

6. Market Research and Revenue Growth

• Study competitors, wedding trends, and customer preferences.
• Identify new business opportunities and target markets.
• Track sales performance and prepare daily or weekly reports.
• Suggest strategies to increase bookings and company revenue.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

• Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Direct sales: 3 years (Preferred)
• Client services: 2 years (Preferred)
