You will play a key role as a Business Development Engineer in driving growth within the ventilator product line. Your responsibilities will include identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, establishing relationships with stakeholders in the healthcare sector, and leveraging your expertise in medical device engineering, specifically in ventilator technologies. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around market analysis and strategy development. You will conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities within the ventilator market, both domestically and internationally. Based on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, you will develop robust business strategies to drive growth. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in driving sales efforts and supporting the sales team in promoting ventilator products to hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions. Your role will involve expanding the customer base by fostering relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the healthcare industry. Your technical knowledge of ventilator systems will be crucial in providing solutions and support to potential customers. You will also collaborate closely with the R&D and engineering teams to communicate customer needs, guide product enhancements, and ensure regulatory compliance. Staying abreast of medical device regulations, certifications, and standards will be essential. You will support the development of necessary documentation for regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as FDA and CE marking. Networking and partnerships will also be part of your responsibilities. Attending industry conferences and trade shows to promote the company's products, build professional networks, and establish partnerships with key medical organizations will be key to your success. Your role will also involve providing regular reports on sales targets, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management. Your insights will contribute to improving overall product development and marketing strategies. Qualifications: - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering - Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in the medical device industry, with a focus on ventilators - Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of ventilator technologies, mechanical systems, electronic components, and knowledge of regulatory standards Skills: - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools Other Attributes: - Self-motivated, results-oriented with a passion for the medical field - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team - Travel may be required,
