Job Description: Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Sales Executive with 2–3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, acquiring clients, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in the Gandhidham and surrounding markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Identify and approach potential importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders.
• Promote sea freight, air freight, import/export, and other logistics services, as applicable.
• Develop new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and close business deals.
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Conduct client visits and follow up on sales leads and business opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain sales reports, client databases, and pipeline updates.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding sales or logistics business development.
• Basic knowledge of import/export procedures, sea freight, air freight, and freight pricing.
• Good communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to generate leads, acquire new customers, and achieve sales targets.
• Existing client contacts in Gandhidham, Kandla, or Mundra will be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₹50,000–₹60,000, depending on experience and suitability.
• Sales incentives as per company policy, if applicable.
