Business Data Analyst & AI Generalist

As a Business Analyst at our leading roll foundry, your role will involve transforming raw operational and sales data into clear insights, dashboards, and strategic decisions. You will directly support top management and play a critical part in making our company fully data-driven. Success in this role means enabling us to increase profit, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and make smarter business decisions based on data. **Responsibilities:** - Analyze sales, margins, product, and customer performance - Build clear, visual dashboards using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau - Track production efficiency, lead times, rejections, scrap, and bottlenecks - Identify high-profit vs low-profit customers and products - Forecast demand and support capacity planning - Provide strategic recommendations to management for growth and cost control - Present insights in a clear, decision-focused format - Work closely with leadership to understand business goals - Streamline data collection and reporting processes - Improve visibility across sales, operations, production, and finance - Help build a culture of data-driven decision-making - Challenge existing processes and suggest more efficient approaches **Qualifications:** - Think commercially and understand business logic - Experience in manufacturing/B2B/supply chain/operations preferred - Strong in analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving - Ability to turn raw data into clear insights and strategic recommendations - Communicate confidently with leadership and stakeholders - Proactive, curious, and eager to build systems from scratch **Skills:** - Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Formulas, Slicers, and Automation - Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio experience preferred - Strong knowledge of business metrics such as profit, margin, cash flow, efficiency - Ability to design dashboards and reports that drive decisions - Good verbal and written communication skills **Experience:** - 2+ years in Business Analysis/Data Analytics/Operations Analytics - Experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B environment is a major plus - Experience presenting insights to senior management If you are passionate about turning data into strategy, profit, and smart decisions, we are looking for someone like you to join our team.,
