Job Description

Experience 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance

ACCOUNTABILITIES ACTIVITIES

Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling estimates for the plant
Analyze monthly performance against budgets and provide variance explanations
Conduct cost variance analysis (material, labor, overheads) and provide recommendations
Prepare timely and accurate monthly MIS reports, highlighting key KPIs and financial trends
Coordinate internal, statutory, and cost audits for the plant
Ensure accurate valuation and control of inventories; monitor scrap, yield, and wastage
Evaluate, monitor, and track capital expenditure projects and ROI performance
Support make-or-buy analysis, pricing decisions, and capital expenditure appraisals

ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

CA / CMA with 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and product costing
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and cost audit requirements
Exposure to Power BI, or other reporting/visualization tools
Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
