Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist (Salesforce Focus)

Role Overview: As a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist with a focus on Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in owning and managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) initiatives within the Salesforce ecosystem. Your responsibilities will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing data protection strategies, collaborating with various teams to ensure platform resilience, and maintaining compliance with industry best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding data, reducing risks, and enhancing the overall resilience of the organization's operations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage data protection strategies, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans. - Identify non-resilient Salesforce integrations with external systems, define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and collaborate with the Architecture team to automate or re-architect as necessary. - Ensure compliance with business continuity standards and regulatory best practices. - Partner with Salesforce and cross-functional teams to validate and execute resilience planning effectively. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience with Salesforce integrations, including AppExchange, APIs, and custom builds. - Hands-on expertise in disaster recovery, backups, and data protection strategies. - Strong ability to collaborate effectively with Architecture and Security teams. - Solid understanding of business continuity frameworks and practical resilience planning.
