Business Central Functional Consultant

As a Business Central Functional/Technical Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to manage relationships with external IT partners, particularly a Microsoft Partner, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and goal alignment. You will be tasked with designing and implementing strategies for IT systems, policies, and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will coordinate software releases and upgrades in collaboration with technical teams and end-users to minimize operational disruptions. Your role will involve reviewing and prioritizing support and enhancement requests based on business requirements and facilitating resolutions with relevant stakeholders. You will be responsible for customizing and developing functionalities within Dynamics NAV/BC using AL, C/AL, and C/SIDE programming languages. Furthermore, you will oversee the technical lifecycle of IT projects from conceptualization to implementation, including bespoke module development. As part of your duties, you will conduct code reviews and provide third-line support to ensure the quality and reliability of IT solutions, addressing complex technical issues. You will also be expected to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between various IT systems and third-party solutions to optimize functionality and performance. To qualify for this role, you should possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or D365 Business Central. Proven experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential, along with a strong background in MS Dynamics NAV environments. Expertise in C/SIDE and C/AL programming, particularly in pipeline configuration, is required. Familiarity with SQL for database interactions and data-related tasks within Dynamics NAV/BC is desirable but not mandatory. Additionally, strong project management skills are crucial, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.,
