Business Analyst/Scrum Master

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Business

Analyst cum Scrum Master. This hybrid role demands a unique blend of analytical acumen

and agile leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives within the banking domain. The

ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical execution, ensuring stakeholder

alignment, timely delivery, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional

and non-functional requirements

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and acceptance

criteria

• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new initiatives
• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triaging
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (Operations, Compliance, IT) to ensure solution

alignment

Scrum Master Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and

Retrospectives

• Shield the team from external interruptions and remove impediments to progress
• Track sprint metrics (velocity, burndown) and drive continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices

Domain Expertise

• Strong understanding of banking products, operations, and regulatory frameworks
• Hands-on experience with core banking systems (e.g., Finacle), digital channels, or

government business modules

• Familiarity with audit trails, compliance reporting, and customer onboarding

workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Agile project delivery
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and process modelling tools
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills

• Experience in regulatory testing, go-live coordination, or technical migrations
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Strong documentation and presentation skills for executive and operational

audiences
