business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Ability to engage with business stakeholders/vendors to understand the problem statement, existing landscape, derive the core requirements and translate the derived information into a BRD/ FRD that would help the technical team.
• Ability to take lead in facilitating business engagements between stakeholders and the technical development team. Facilitate workshops, weekly connects and review sessions to make sure the team is moving in the right direction.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross- functional teams as a motivated team player to drive product initiatives forward as per the organisations vision / roadmap
• Manage vendors / suppliers supporting product initiatives. Support and facilitate interactions between supply chain security teams and suppliers to ensure they meet the security standards of the organisation. 
• Proactively create and maintain user stories / tasks that support BA activities using tools like JIRA, confluence etc.
• Create and maintain process flows, data models and technical documentation using tools like Lucid / Visio etc.
• Create, own and manage stakeholder matrix and relevant documentation related to each project assigned
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to work in agile / waterfall methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and promote Agile best practices across teams.
• Support Product Owner / Scrum master in sprint planning / backlog refinement and provide inputs in creating product roadmaps.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and gap analyses.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment activities and ensure the developed solutions meet the core requirements of the customers, adhering to necessary regulatory standards and quality of the organization as well as the client.
• Testing knowledge using JIRA X-ray or other testing tools would be advantageous.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Strong background in project management and change management
• Good understanding of IT governance.
• Provide post-implementation support and training to end-users.
