Senior Business Analyst with Product Owner capabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.

• Define and maintain product roadmaps

  , release plans, and backlogs in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
• Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to align requirements and solutions with business objectives.
• Perform requirements analysis and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with product owners, architects, and developers to define solution approaches.
• Identify opportunities to leverage

  AI, automation, and data analytics

  to improve processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver smarter solutions.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Drive process improvements by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), support defect triaging, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and business cases.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Monitor project deliverables, risks, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
• Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing to junior analysts.
• Stay up to date with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with

  at least 2–3 years in a Product Owner or product-facing role.

• Proven track record in defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
• Deep expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and requirements management.
• Strong experience with BA/Product tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
• Understanding of

  AI/ML concepts

  and ability to translate business needs into AI use cases (chatbots, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, document AI, etc.).
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills —comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
• Domain expertise in

  [insert domain: BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, etc.]

  preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API-driven ecosystems is a plus.
