Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the management and lifecycle of products and portfolios. You will provide technical assurance and support for the entire product/portfolio lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve business outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of product and portfolio roadmaps is essential. In terms of Business Management, you will be responsible for providing technical assurance and expertise throughout the full product/portfolio lifecycle, from discovery to agile delivery and operations. Serving as a technical thought leader, you will offer support and advice on creating product/portfolio roadmaps and actively participate in cross-functional product/portfolio teams. Additionally, you will play a role in mitigating impediments that may affect the success of the product/portfolio team outcomes and collaborate with vendors and suppliers on technical issues. Regarding Technology Management, you will advise on IT products or applications, acting as an escalation point for quality and technical issues. Participation in IT product/portfolio strategy discussions and guiding continuous improvement efforts to support business outcomes are also key responsibilities. Working closely with product technology/portfolio application vendors to understand new functionality and suggesting development opportunities will be part of your role. Furthermore, driving innovation themes into the product/portfolio team and wider IT natural team is important. In Data Management, you will ensure data integrity and quality of the product/portfolio in relevant IT management systems, maintain the demand funnel, and the integrated plan/roadmap for the product/portfolio. Regular and ad hoc data and reports on the product/portfolio will be provided to stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement is another crucial aspect of the role where you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify key events or decision points for the product/portfolio. Supporting and performing initiation activities, as well as facilitating product/portfolio reviews and delivery-related meetings, are part of the responsibilities. To be successful in this role, proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT product/portfolio management, strong technical assurance and thought leadership skills, excellent collaboration and communication skills, proficiency in IT portfolio management systems, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders are required. Preferred skills include experience in agile delivery and operations, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,
