Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst role at Assurant-GCC, India involves managing application configurations for Assurant's global Trade-In and Upgrade solution ecosystem across various regions including Americas, LATAM, EU, AU, and Japan. Your responsibilities will include participating in delivery planning, requirement definition, requirements analysis, software setup, test plan design and execution, training, documentation, data analytical and profiling functions, and creation of technical requirement documents. This position is based in Hyderabad, India. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will act as the customer/IT liaison during analysis and planning activities, document business requirements, and implement software configurations. You will also participate in project management activities, contribute to project deliverables, communicate status updates and system changes to stakeholders, coordinate testing strategies, manage testing efforts, and perform data profiling and analytical tasks using Microsoft SQL Server. Additionally, you will develop moderate to complex reports and file extracts using Power BI, ensure secure and compliant access to data, provide customer and IT support for assigned business applications, conduct root-cause analysis, interpret system and business process changes, and maintain reference materials and standard-process documentations. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of experience working with business users and stakeholders on business requirements, software setup, testing, technical documentation, and systems analytics. Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional ability to identify subtle nuances in business requirements, logical and analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with SQL, JSON, XML, HTML, YAML are required. Proficiency in SQL queries, API tools like SOAP UI and Postman, and experience with agile management tools are essential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, experience with MS Power BI, project management, reverse logistics, device trade-in market, omni-channel support, setting up interdependent configurations across multiple applications, and customer email and SMS communications.
