Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Support

• Work with the MD and leadership team on strategy formulation, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and key functional reviews.
• Prepare market research, competitor intelligence, business models and performance dashboards.
• Analyse business problems and propose data-driven solutions for improved outcomes.

2. Performance Tracking & Business Reviews

• Drive dashboards, trackers, and business MIS across functionssales, finance, operations—for clarity and accountability.
• Support MD in strategy development, AOP, business reviews, strategic insights and ad-hoc SBU assessments.
• Support monthly/quarterly business reviews with structured MIS and insights.
• Collaborate with HODs to monitor initiatives and escalate risks proactively.

3. Project Management & Execution Oversight

• Lead cross-functional projects as the MD’s execution arm—bridging execution with strategy for plants, sales zones, supply chain & corporate functions
• Track progress, surface risks/opportunities and ensure closure through structured follow-ups.
• Support special initiatives and transformation programs on behalf of MD.

4. Operational Insight & Ground-Level Execution

• Conduct on-ground visits (plants & distribution markets) to validate execution and gather insights.
• Identify gaps between strategy and execution, accordingly, work with respective teams to close them, in a timely manner.
• Act as an independent reviewer to ensure alignment of execution with strategy.

Confidentiality, Governance Control & Stakeholder Mgt

• Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
• Maintain governance protocols regarding access, information flow, approvals and documentation.
• Act as a bridge across functions—building relationships and fostering collaboration
• Stay attuned to business pulse—engaging across departments to anticipate needs, risks, and opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

• MBA from a reputed institute (preferred) / Chartered Accountant
• Strong academic background in business, commerce, or finance

Experience

• 5–10 years in Business Analysis, Consulting, or Strategic roles
• Exposure to FMCG / Consumer Goods / Manufacturing sectors preferred
• Prior experience supporting CXOs or senior leadership is a plus
