Business Analyst and Business Intelligence Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building the business intelligence system for the company, based on internal and external data structures. Your role involves leading the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. You will work with enterprise-wide business and IT senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements, solve complex technical problems, and optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools. Key Responsibilities: - Lead BI software development, deployment, and maintenance - Perform Data Profiling and Data Analysis activities to understand data sources - Curate reports, define templates, and perform analytical data modeling - Gather and document reporting requirements from cross-functional teams - Translate business requirements into specifications for implementing reports and dashboards from multiple data sources - Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely manner, seeking continuous improvement opportunities - Build solutions to create value and address business problems - Provide technical guidance to designers and stakeholders - Collaborate effectively with members of the Digital Solutions Team - Troubleshoot analytics tool problems and optimize performance - Develop semantic layer and analytics query objects for end users - Translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and analytics query objects - Ensure that quality standards are met - Support Master Data Management Strategy Qualifications: - Understanding of ERP and Operational systems databases, with knowledge of database programming - Proficient in writing SQL queries with large scale, complex datasets - Experience in data visualization and data storytelling - Familiarity with designing, debugging, and deploying software in an ADO (Azure Dev/Ops) development environment - Experience with Microsoft BI stack including Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services - Experience working in an international business environment - Familiarity with Azure Data Platform resources such as ADLS, ADF, Azure Synapse, and Power BI Services - Basic knowledge of manufacturing and sales business processes - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to facilitate meetings and design sessions effectively for decision-making - Proficiency in English language; knowledge of German and French is considered an asset,
