Brownfield Project Engineer The Brownfield Project Engineer supports refineries and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) assets, focusing on modifying and improving existing facilities. This role is responsible for advancing Brownfield projects from initial concept development through detailed design. The position is part of the Brownfield Project Engineering team, overseeing multiple projects and executing key activities such as decision-making support, safety reviews, risk management, and project planning. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of small projects through concept development, selection, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), and detailed design. Lead the development of Key Decision Sheets (KDS) and Decision Support Packages (DSP). Develop vendor assurance processes and oversee cost and schedule estimation. Ensure engineering, construction, and fabrication deliverables are clearly defined. Coordinate Engineering Work Packages (EWP) and Construction Work Packages (CWP). Lead larger projects by forming and guiding multi-discipline, cross-functional teams. Engage stakeholders to develop cost and schedule estimates using risk-based approaches, ensuring budget and timeline adherence. Maintain accountability for project quality, cost, and schedule outcomes. Define and manage project stakeholders, including decision-makers and joint venture partners, for effective decision-making. Deliver small projects using a structured small project delivery system. Support the Management of Change (MoC) process to ensure project modifications meet operational and regulatory requirements. Work with stakeholders to define operational, maintenance, reliability, and regulatory requirements, integrating them into project plans. Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive competitive project performance. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and technical expertise to ensure Brownfield projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget.
