To proactively monitor the storage systems to ensure storage accessibility and zero data loss. Proactive incident and change Management. Generate storage reports as per requirement Analyze the activities assigned as required by the business. Technical Experience:Storage Management & Administration: Manage, configure, and optimize Dell EMC Power-Max storage arrays including VMFS, vSAN, and storage provisioning. Configure and manage masking views, zoning, and LUN provisioning. Perform storage expansion, refresh activities, and SRDF-based replication. Monitor storage performance, capacity planning, and health status.Backup, Replication & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage SRDF replication for disaster recovery. Create and restore snapshots, clones, and backups. Execute failover, failback, and DR testing procedures. Work closely with backup team to integrate storage solutions with backup policies.Troubleshooting & Optimization: Investigate and resolve storage performance issues. Troubleshoot hardware failures, disk replacements, and RAID-level configurations. Perform LUN cleanup, disk failure analysis, and recoverability testing. Collaborate with server, network, and security teams to ensure seamless storage integration.Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration. Hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, Unisphere for PowerMax, and Symmetrix CLI (SYMCLI). Strong understanding of VMware vSphere storage (VMFS, NFS, vSAN, vVols). Knowledge of SRDF, SnapVX, TimeFinder, and replication technologies. Experience with zoning on Cisco/Brocade SAN switches. Proficiency in RAID levels, storage tiering, and capacity management. Familiarity with backup solutions like Rubrik or Commvault. Scripting knowledge for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Experience working with Linux and Windows-based storage clients. About The Role Install, configure, and manage EMC storage systems (VNX, Unity, PowerMax, XtremIO, Isilon, etc.). Monitor storage performance, capacity planning, and troubleshoot storage-related issues. Manage SAN/NAS storage environments using EMC tools like Unisphere, Solutions Enabler, SRM, Avamar, Data Domain, and RecoverPoint. Perform storage provisioning, zoning, and LUN management in a multi-vendor environment. Implement and maintain data protection strategies including backups, replication, and disaster recovery. Work closely with network and system administrators to optimize storage performance. Perform firmware and software upgrades on storage systems as needed. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for data storage. Document configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide 24x7 support for critical storage incidents and participate in on-call rotations. Hands-on experience managing EMC storage solutions. Strong expertise in SAN (Brocade/Cisco), NAS, and iSCSI storage environments. Proficiency in EMC storage management tools (Unisphere, CLI, SRM, etc.). Experience with VMware storage integration and provisioning. Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (Avamar, Data Domain, Networker). Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation is a plus. Understanding of ITIL processes and change management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. About The Role Knowledge and practical experience of EMC Storage SAN; NAS technologies and replication. Have a practical working knowledge EMC Unity;EMC Power store and Vplex ;EMC Isilon Storage Boxes with replication technologies. Provide performance tuning and troubleshooting of all DELL storage technologies. Performance analysis of the environment is mandatory requirement. In depth understanding about SAN fabrics and Host to SAN connectivity/Performance Management Configuration Management and Capacity Management Good working knowledge Fabric Switches Brocade/Directors/Enclosers. Need to have knowledge storage operations using ITIL Framework Incident Management Problem Management; Participate in Change release management Plan Implement routine normal complex changes Participate in CAB and TAB Raise change requests where required.
