Bridge Design Engineer (Railway Bridges)

You will be responsible for the detailed design of various types of railway bridges (such as Important, Major, RFO, Minor, FOB, etc.) using software like Staad and Midas. This includes designing components like abutments, piers, foundations, superstructures, decks, and culverts (Box/pipe) using materials such as RCC, PSC, OWG, Composite Girders, etc. Additionally, you will be involved in Hydrological Investigations and Flood Discharge Computations to ensure the structural integrity of the bridges. Your tasks will also involve reviewing and checking detailed Structural Drawings using tools like AutoCAD and Rivet for accuracy and compliance with standards. You will perform structural analysis and calculations to guarantee the strength, stability, and performance of the bridge designs under various loading conditions, ensuring they meet the latest IRS / IRC codal provisions. Coordination and discussions with Consultants, Clients, and Authorities will be necessary to obtain approval for the designs and drawings based on project requirements and standards. Collaboration with other engineers and project teams will be vital to incorporate site conditions, environmental factors, and project objectives into the bridge designs effectively.,
