Position Overview

We are looking for a technical and detail-oriented person with great communication and problem-

solving skills to support and monitor EDI documents in North America (U.S. & Canada). This person will

have at least 5 years of experience in a technical setting, with knowledge of and direct experience with

EDI documents. Prior night shift BPO experience mandatory.

Essential Job Functions

_Cater to critical EDI requests raised by stakeholders

_EDI mapping modification or creation

_Support monitoring and maintenance of inbound and outbound EDI transaction in IBM

_Provide on-going support for internal and external users while troubleshooting and resolving issues

_Review and understand trading partner requirements

_Plan and develop EDI mapping changes to cater new customer requirements

_Correct and review EDI related chargeback

_Standardize and create documentation for EDI business processes

_Perform functional testing in the EDI system for both implementation and change requests

_Implement EDI for new trading partners and warehouses

_Spearhead EDI continuous improvement projects

_Project management of new and existing projects related to EDI

_Perform special tasks as needed

Education and Experience

5 or more years with EDI development or a similar role 4-year college degree in I.T. or Computer Science

or equivalent years of experience Job Qualifications

_Knowledge of EDI formats and standards like ANSI-X12, EDIFACT and TRADACOMS.

_Advanced knowledge in C#.NET, VB.NET and MS SQL

_Desired experience with integration frameworks like Boomi

_Business Analyst or Project Management experience desired in supply chain.

_Excellent verbal and written English

_Ability to communicate effectively and professionally by phone or email

_Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups

_Solid analytical and problem-solving skills (root cause analysis)

_Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines

_Demonstrate a strong work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality
