About the Role We’re hiring a senior leader to head Business Development for Events at Book My Artist. This role is built for someone with strong corporate connects and the ability to drive high-ticket closures in the event, experiential, and IP space. If you already have relationships in place with corporates, brands, venues, or agencies, and want to lead BD for a fast-growing entertainment company — this is your seat at the table. Responsibilities: Own BD for B2B events, IP's, and curated experiences Tap into your network to bring in high-value brand and corporate mandates Lead entire sales lifecycle: lead-gen → pitch → proposal → closure Build & nurture a robust vendor + client ecosystem Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and upselling Own revenue targets and drive growth via strategic partnerships What We’re Looking For: 5–7 years of BD/sales experience in events, experiential marketing, or B2B services Existing connects with corporates, agencies, and/or production partners Excellent pitching, negotiation, and closure skills Proven track record of delivering ₹1Cr+ annual BD individually Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership This is a high-impact role with visibility, ownership, and direct access to the founder. As a senior leader at Book My Artist, you will be responsible for heading Business Development for Events. Your role will involve leveraging your strong corporate connections to drive high-ticket closures in the event, experiential, and IP space. If you have existing relationships with corporates, brands, venues, or agencies and are eager to lead BD for a rapidly growing entertainment company, this position offers a significant opportunity. Your key responsibilities will include owning BD for B2B events, IP's, and curated experiences. You will utilize your network to secure high-value brand and corporate mandates. Additionally, you will lead the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to pitching, proposal creation, and deal closure. Building and nurturing a strong vendor and client ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and upselling, and driving growth through strategic partnerships will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5-7 years of BD/sales experience in events, experiential marketing, or B2B services. You should bring existing connections with corporates, agencies, and production partners, along with excellent pitching, negotiation, and closure skills. A proven track record of delivering annual BD targets exceeding 1 crore individually, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and a sense of high ownership, are essential qualities we are looking for.
