Job Description:
Plantrich Agritech Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and responsible Boiler Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our utilities and boiler systems, which are critical to smooth plant operations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers and steam distribution systems to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. 2. Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of boilers, steam lines, valves, and associated equipment. 3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements related to boiler and pressure vessel operations. 4. Operate and manage Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure proper treatment of wastewater as per environmental standards. 5. Operate and monitor Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems to ensure availability of treated water for production and utilities. 6. Monitor and ensure smooth functioning of the plant water supply systems, including pumps, pipelines, and storage tanks. 7. Keep accurate logbooks, operation records, and maintenance reports for audit and compliance purposes. 8. Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations. 9. Identify potential risks, implement corrective measures, and participate in safety audits and inspections. 10.Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards within the utility operations. Requirements:
✔ Valid B Class Boiler Operator License (mandatory). ✔ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in boiler operation and utility management in a manufacturing or food processing environment. ✔ Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems, steam distribution, and safety standards. ✔ Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining ETP and WTP systems. ✔ Ability to troubleshoot utility issues and carry out basic repair/maintenance work. ✔ Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in shifts if required. ✔ Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
