Job Title:

Location:

Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the
boiler
and record all parameters as per in-house schedules.
Perform
monthly maintenance
and
boiler tube cleaning
.
Carry out
preventive and planned maintenance
of the boiler and associated systems such as
ID/FD fans
, pumps, and valves.
Conduct
daily water testing
for both feed and blowdown water.
Prepare and
add necessary chemical dosing
as per water quality.
Handle
fuel unloading
and
ash collection
activities.
Coordinate with internal teams for
boiler IBR inspections
and
annual maintenance activities
.
Submit
daily reports
to the Utility In-Charge on fuel, water, and steam consumption, condensate recovery, and any abnormalities.
Ensure adherence to
safety, quality, and operational standards
at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma
in Mechanical or relevant discipline.
Minimum
2 years of experience
in boiler operation and maintenance.
Valid Boiler Attendant License (Mandatory)
First or Second Class.
Thorough knowledge of boiler systems, IBR regulations, and safety procedures.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
