Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage blood bank operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution of blood products.
Oversee blood collection procedures to ensure a sufficient supply of high-quality blood components.
Develop and implement policies and protocols for transfusion medicine services within the hospital.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective patient care through proper utilization of blood resources.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to blood banking.

Desired Candidate Profile

6-11 years of experience in Blood Bank or Transfusion Medicine department.
Strong knowledge of blood bank operations, including inventory management, quality control, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients' families.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
