Bioprocess Fermentation Technologis

We are expanding our fermentation team and if you want to be part of an awesome team imagining and building the future, you must consider this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor precision fermentation equipment, including bioreactors or fermenters at various scales, as well as related downstream processing unit operation systems such as cell separation, filtration, concenTtration, drying.
• Prepare, sterilize, manage media, clean and assemble fermenters, and maintain a sterile work environment as per Good Manufacturing Practices and SOPs.
• Monitor key fermentation parameters such as pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen, perform in-process analysis, record observations and data.
• Troubleshoot, coordinate maintenance, and perform preventative maintenance of fermenters and related equipment.
• Perform cleaning-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) procedures, ensuring vessels are sterile and ready for use.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, including logbooks, batch records, and process documentation.
• Implement environmental and quality controls and participate in process improvement and problem-solving alongside production and R&D teams.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for the handling of biological and chemical materials during the process.

Required Qualifications:

- Education : Diploma in chemical engineering/Industrial Biotechnology or BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotech/BCZ or any chemical or life science disciplines.

- Years and Type of Experience : 0 5 years of industrial experience

- Preferably in a API/fermentation plant/R&D

Travel

• As required to external sites

Reporting Structure

• Will report to and work closely with Bioprocess lead/scientist.
