Job Description

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be applying engineering principles to solve problems in medicine and biology, with the ultimate goal of improving healthcare. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing medical devices, diagnostic tools, and treatment methods. This interdisciplinary field draws from various disciplines such as biology, engineering, and computer science to create innovative solutions. Your focus will be on creating technologies that diagnose, monitor, and treat diseases, while also enhancing the overall quality of life for patients. Some examples of applications you may work on include pacemakers, artificial organs, prosthetics, robotic surgical systems, imaging systems (such as MRI and CT scans), lab equipment, and diagnostic tools.
