Biology Teacher

Metro Scholar, Thane is seeking a qualified and experienced Biology Teacher to teach students of Class 11 and 12 on CHB Basis. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of senior secondary biology concepts and the ability to deliver them effectively, preparing students for board exams and competitive entrance tests (MHT-CET). Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Biology for Classes 11 and 12 (as per State Board syllabus). Teach complex topics such as human physiology, plant physiology, genetics, ecology, evolution, and biotechnology with clarity. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, lab experiments, and visual presentations. Conduct practical sessions as per the prescribed syllabus and ensure lab safety protocols are followed. Evaluate students through tests, assignments, lab work, and examinations. Provide guidance for board exam preparation and assist with MHT-CET-level concepts when required. Maintain academic records and provide regular feedback on student performance. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events. Stay updated with changes in syllabus, exam patterns, and best teaching practices.
