Biology Teacher

Job Summary:

The Biology Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should inspire curiosity and understanding of life sciences, encouraging students to develop scientific thinking and inquiry-based learning habits.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons in Biology for Classes VIX, following CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning materials to enhance conceptual understanding.
  
• Conduct classroom and lab sessions that promote hands-on learning and scientific exploration.
  
• Assign and assess homework, projects, and classwork on a regular basis, providing constructive feedback.
  
• Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and performance in accordance with school standards.
  
• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and as required to discuss student development.
  
• Collaborate with subject and grade-level teachers to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
  
• Participate actively in school events, academic planning, and professional development programs.
  
• Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• M.Sc. (Biology / Life Sciences / Zoology / Botany) from a recognized university with

  B.Ed. qualification

  (mandatory).

• 05 years

  of teaching experience in Biology at TGT level (Classes VIX) in a CBSE-affiliated school.
• Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum and latest assessment methodologies.
  
• Basic proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and student engagement.
