BIM Technician - Mechanical

You will be responsible for the following tasks: - Prepare MEP 3D BIM coordinated models - Conduct clash detection and clash resolution - Develop Parametric BIM Families - Provide specialist support to design teams for analysis and design models - Assist design teams and bid teams in creating 3D visualizations - Assist design teams and bid teams in developing 4D models/visualizations - Generate quantities for Bill of Quantities (BoQs) from the 3D model Qualifications required for this role: - Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering is preferred along with Draughting qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of production experience in design, drafting, and engineering with significant experience in a similar role or a proven track record - Good working knowledge of Windows environments, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications, and database software - Ability to plan and manage workload effectively - Strong English communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at a senior level - Computer literate - Valid passport and willingness to be seconded to the UK for up to 3 months About the Company: WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm with a global presence.
