BIM Technician - ITS (Civil 3D)

You will be responsible for working and supporting a variety of Intelligent Transport Systems infrastructure schemes. Your main tasks will involve independently developing engineering drawings in compliance with the relevant standards. You will need to actively participate in the design process and handle multiple projects simultaneously. The primary software tools you will be using include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and other engineering software for the production and development of drawings. Your key responsibilities will include utilizing AutoCAD to develop layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layouts, design details, and other design concepts for various Traffic Signal Control System and Intelligent Transport Systems projects. You should have the ability to create parametric library elements in Civil3D and Civil3D models according to BIM standards. Additionally, you will be required to create BEP (BIM EXECUTION PLAN) as per project standards, generate Plan and profile drawings from Civil 3D models, perform Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks, and use the Common Data Environment for information exchange. Collaboration with design teams to coordinate design and drawing production is essential. You should be committed to working as part of a design team focused on project delivery. Good written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for this role. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a CAD/ Civil 3D / Revit technician role in Dry utilities. Experience or knowledge of working with BIM processes and procedures is preferred, along with experience in designing Intelligent Transportation System and Traffic Signal Control System Networks.
